Staff of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, know Ibrahim Mustafa Magu to be a very corrupt and deceptive man.

Mr Magu, a crafty Nigerian policeman was so desperate to be named as the 4th substantive chairman of the anti-graft agency, he schemed up “several corrupt ways of achieving this aim.” He was able to fool many Nigerians until the intelligence report was published.

Having failed to successfully blackmail Emirs or bribe some members of the Senate to do his bidding, Mr Magu embarked on the final deceptive plot for his nomination by deliberately planting N49 million at the Kaduna Airport.

Magu Duped Gullible Nigerians

In a series of telephone conversation, an EFCC source claimed that in anticipation of his scheduled confirmation screening today, Mr Magu, who is used to playing to the media deliberately planted the money at the Kaduna Airport “to portray himself as the workaholic who has recently been discovering various sums of loots across the country.”

The source, conversant with the operations of the anti-graft commission explained that the rejected “corrupt” anti-graft agency’s boss used the recovery to play on the gullibility of Nigerians.

The EFCC staff stated that Mr Magu did this with the help of a very corrupt associate from Gombe.

The EFCC source confessed that a day before Mr Magu’s screening, Mr Ibrahim Bappa who was specially transferred from Gombe to Kaduna was “directed on where to collect some fresh mints and then told to drop it at the airport.”

He said: “Mr Bappa is a Chief Superintendent of Police, who is originally from Adamawa state and known to be a lackey of former chair, Ibrahim Lamorde.”

Apparently, the former head of commission at Kaduna, Abubakar Mohammed, popularly known as ‘Americana’ was not willing to be involved in the corrupt scheme, which led to his removal from the Kaduna office.

Mr Magu knows that Nigerians are easily carried away by his ‘Media Hypes,’ the anti-graft agency’s boss decided to pull that stunt, as a symbol to hoodwink the NASS Senators, in the event of his appearance for screening, as substantive EFCC Chair.”

Unfortunately, this antic of Mr Magu was exposed and reported to DENISAURUS News.

This news site brought to the lime light accusations of corruption against Mr Magu.  These allegations where corroborated by the Department of State Security report.

Mr Magu who could not defend himself from the allegation levelled against him was rejected by the Senate for the second time, today.

It is the first time a nominee has been rejected for the position.
