A former Ambassador, Bagudu Hirse who was abducted by gunmen in Kaduna, last weekend (Nov 20) has regained his freedom.
A relative, John, who served as a permanent secretary in the federal civil service and District Head of Mangu, in Plateau confirmed that Mr Hirse had been released.
Mr Hirse, served as a Minister of Foreign Affairs. It was reported that he had paid a visit to the family of the late Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaja Ibrahim Dasuki, before heading to the home of Mallam Mamman Daura, where he was kidnapped by three armed men.
