The campaign of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo was bolstered by the presence of the President in the state, today.
President Muhammadu Buhari who arrived at the airport at 10:09am proceeded to Deji of Akure, Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi’s palace. He was later sighted at the Democracy Park in the Ondo state capital, where a grand finale rally in support of his party’s candidate, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN and Agboola Ajayi, is being held ahead of the November 26 elections.
Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha who led a delegation of APC governors which includes the Former Governor of Edo, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole; Governor of Ogun state, Ibikunle Amosun; Governor of Kogi, Yahaya Bello; Governor of Kano state, Abdullahi Umaru Ganduje to the event, gave a beffiting salute to President Buhari, in his opening speech.

In his speech, Gov Okorocha told the crowd, “We are here to let you know that all of us are with Aketi.”
Governor Okorocha’s counterpart in Ogun state, urged the people not to vote for the PDP candidate or Alliance for Democracy.
The Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki also gave a brief speech, where he appealed to the Ondo state people to join the ruling party. He said voting for Akeredolu will see more improvement for them
Professor Yemi Osinbajo has not yet been sighted at the rally.
Denisaurus gathered that the Vice President is in Abuja and would not be attending the rally as expected.
