President Muhammadu Buhari Insists He Is Nigeria’s Number One Citizen- Not Mamman Daura

By Adenike Lucas

President Muhammadu Buhari says he is still Nigeria’s number one citizen, putting an end to the accusation being made against his senior nephew, Mamman Daura.

In an interview with The Osasu Show,  President Buhari insisted that he was still in charge despite claims made by a small section of the media that Mallam Daura -the older son of PMB’s brother, was leading a cabal at the Villa.

According to this reports, Mallam Daura  was the true President and President Buhari was the unofficial Vice.

3 minutes and 30s into the video clip (see link below) President  Buhari directly addressed these assertion, saying: “I don’t know where they get their news from.”

A few weeks ago, the wife of the President granted an interview to BBC where she slated her husband for appointing people he did not know.

But President Buhari said “I stood for the election, I visited every local government in Nigeria, I traveled by road, by air, and so on, and we had one of the most credible election. So whoever feels  he has lost somehow is his own problem, I have no problem.”
