Senator For Gombe Central, Accused Of N25 billion Fraud, Skips Bail

A Federal High Court in Jos has ordered the arrest of a Senate member for Gombe Central who skipped his court case.

Senator Muhammad Danjuma Goje (pictured below) was due to appear in court Yesterday, October 4, to face charges in connection with a N25 billion  fraud charge.

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriation is accused of forging the Gombe State House of Assembly’s resolution to secure a five million Naira loan.

Federal High Court, sitting in Jos, Plateau State is said to have issued a bench warrant against the former Governor of Gombe State if he fails to show up in court again.

Today, October 5th, Justice Babatunde Quadri adjourned the case till November 22.
