Aganga, Nigeria’s Former Minister of Finance Launches Book At SOAS

Olusegun Aganga, a former finance minister of Nigeria has launched a book described as a “roadmap for transforming the largest economy in Africa.”

The book by Mr Aganga CON, titled “Reclaiming the Jewel of Africa,” was launched at the School of Oriental and African Studies, SOAS, University, today.

The 68- year-old, who was appointed as a finance minister from 2010 – 2011, and who also served as the minister for Trade and Investment from 2011 – 2015, attended the event with his wife at the university’s site in London.

Former President of South Africa, Thabo Mbeki has said it is “a living manual for renaissance of an eminent African country.”

DENISAURUS News was present at the launch, which had special guests including the Nigerian High Commissioner in the UK, Ishola Tunji Sarafa and a former British High Commissioner in Nigeria, Paul Arkwright.
