A female environmental activist, Sakinat Bello, has been appointed to provide advice to the Governor of Kaduna on matters relating to the climate. 

Miss Bello, a young climate activist who was also campaigns on the rights of the girl child in the north, was announced as a senior assistant to Nasiru El-Rufai on Monday.

The list supplied to DENISAURUS News by the Governor’s media aide, Muyiwa Adekeye showed that two other women are to also join the team.

“Stella Amako is now SA Community Relations and Hajiya Zainab Shehu, SA Social Development.”
