 The Nigerian President has congratulated Benjamin Netanyahu over his victory in the parliamentary election that took place in Israel.

The 69-year-old right wing Isreali Prime Minister is serving his fifth term in office.

In a statement seen by DENISAURUS News, President Muhammadu Buhari promised to “strengthen existing relations between the two countries.”

My “best wishes to the people of the State of Israel in the aftermath of the successful conclusion of the poll, and wishes them peace, progress and stability going forward,” he said through a media aide.

He added that the two countries would continue “to work with the Israeli Prime Minister to strengthen existing cordial and mutually-beneficial relations between the two countries.”
