The EIGHT Senate led by Bukola Saraki, has confirmed Bolaji Owasanoye as the new chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC.Â
Eight other individuals were appointed into the anti-graft board.
Professor Owasanoye whose appointment was filled with controversy was first appointed by the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in 2017.
At the time of his appointment DENISAURUS News had received petitions from members of the public against the new chairman.
A similar outcry was raised about Ibrahim Mustafa Magu’s appointment at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
