Boris Johnson resigns as Foreign Secretary.
Downing Street responded saying Mr Johnson, the second senior cabinet minister to resign in less than 24 hours over Brexit, will be replaced shortly.
David Davis, the Brexit Secretary quit his role because of the “dangerous” new government plan, which is expected to come into force when Britain leaves the European Union on 29 March 2019.
The departure of both minister is a massive blow to the Prime Minister, who lost a majority at the Commons when she called an early election in April last year.

A Downing Street spokesman said: “This afternoon, the prime minister accepted the resignation of Boris Johnson as foreign secretary.
“His replacement will be announced shortly. The prime minister thanks Boris for his work.”
Tom Watson, the deputy leader of the opposition party, said Mr Johnson is “the worst Foreign Secretary I’ve ever known. Weak, self-centred, arrogant, ignorant and rude.”
Jeremy Corbyn, the Labour leader noted that the resignation shows that the Prime Minister has no “authority.”
Mr Corbyn said Theresa May should think of her position and not “cling on.”
“David Davis resigning at such a crucial time shows @Theresa_May has no authority left and is incapable of delivering Brexit,” he said.
“With her Government in chaos, if she clings on, it’s clear she’s more interested in hanging on for her own sake than serving the people of our country.”
Donald Tusk, President of the European Council reacted to the resignation, saying that “Politicians come and go but the problems they have created for people remain. I can only regret that the idea of #Brexit has not left with Davis and Johnson. But…who knows?”
