President Muhammadu Buhari, 75, is embarking on a two-day tour in Jigawa State.
The Nigerian President, who departed from Abuja this morning, is expected to commission a few project in the state.
According Governor Muhammad Badaru, during his visit, President Buhari will also inaugurate some roads and water projects within and outside Dutse – the state capital.

DENISAURUS News learnt that about 2,000 special tactical operational squad and intelligence officers have been deployed to provide security for the President’s visit.
NSCDC spokesman in the state, Adamu Shehu, said: “The Jigawa State command has fully prepared towards the two-day visit of the President.

“It is deploying about 2,000 special tactical operational squad and intelligence officers drawn from the state command and neighbouring formations in Kano and Bauchi States to assist in the provision of security.”
Nigeria’s commander in chief, who plans to seek re-election in 2019,will depart from Jigawa on May 15 in order to to commission the new Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Headquarters in Abuja.
