The leaders of South Africa’s ruling African National Congress (ANC) have demanded for the immediate resignation of President Jacob Zuma.
The 75-year-old, who has been plagued by several allegations of corruption, has so far refused to go.
Plans to “recall” President Zuma, who has been in power since 2007 began on Tuesday.
A motion of no confidence will take place tomorrow, if he insists on staying.
Cyril Ramaphosa, the leader of the ANC is expected to be sworn in as the new president, depending on the availability of Chief Justice.
