Nigeria’s President marked his entry to the South East state with the inauguration of a number of road projects.
This is the first time the President is visiting the region since he was elected into office.
The President, who holds the traditional title of Enyioma 1 of Ebonyi and Ochioha Ndi Igbo 1, arrived at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, at 10.30am and was welcomed by the Governors of Enugu, Ebonyi, Abia, Imo and Kogi.
President Buhari also travelled to Abakaliki, Ebonyi State today, where he commissioned two Flyovers on the section of the African Trans-Saharan Highway that runs between Enugu and Cameroon.
