The Secretary to the Federal Government of Nigeria, Boss Mustapha has made a hospital visit to former Vice President, Dr Alex Ekuweme who is currently received treatment in an hospital in London.

Mr Mustapha, spent time with the 85-year-old elderstateman and his wife, Helen.

A tweet on the official presidency handle was also used to “wish Dr. Alex Ekwueme speedy recovery.”

President Muhammadu Buhari had authorised for Dr Ekwueme, who was being treated for chest infection at the Memfys Hospital of Neurosurgery, Enugu, to be flown out of the country for further treatment.

Dr Ekwueme departed the country on Sunday at 8:30 am in a white air ambulance with registration number N605AJ.
