Public Mark 20TH Anniversary Of Diana’s Death

By Christian Smith

Tributes have been paid to Diana, Princess of Wales, who died after a car crash in Paris twenty years ago today.

The driver of the car, Henri Paul and Dodi Al-Fayed, son of Egyptian business mogul, Mohamed Al-Fayed also died as their Limousine was being pursued by paparazzi photographers on August 31, 1997.

Members of the public are marking the anniversary by laying out flowers at Kensington palace, the former home of Prince Di.

Prince Williams and Harry are to hold a private ceremony in remembrance of their 36-year-old mother, dubbed the people’s Princess by former Prime Minister, Tony Blair.
