Two people have died and at least eight people were injured in a stabbing attack in Finland.
Finnish Police said they shot the man who attacked several people in a market square in the south-western city of Turku.
Police tweeted: “Several people stabbed in central Turku. People are requested to avoid the city centre.”

A man has been arrested and remains in custody.
Prime Minister Juha Sipila said: “The government is closely following the events in Turku and the ongoing police operation. The government will meet later today”
