False News Spread About Kwankwaso’s Departure From The APC

A member of the Kwankwasiyya group has once again denied that the lawmaker has defected from the All Progressives Congress to the Peoples Democratic Party.

An online newspaper, the Daily Post claimed that Kwankwaso, the senator representing Kano Central senatorial district has left the progressive fold, a story which was first published on Naij.com five months ago.

Supporters of the former Kano State Governor reacted to the latest news of his departure with a solidarity message, saying the “amiable and dynamic leader” was not leaving the APC.

“This is to dispel the fake news going around even in some main stream media that our amiable and dynamic leader Engr. Rabiu Kwankwaso has defected to the PDP,” the email sent to DENISAURUS News reads.

“This news as usual is emanating from the quarters of political detractors. Should there be a major political decision in the aspirations of our leader you will be duly informed through the appropriate channel.”
