Tennis legend Boris Becker, 49, has been declared bankrupt after losing a huge part of his £100million fortune in failed investments.

According to German news magazine Der Spiegel, the former tennis champion bought shares in a Nigerian oil firm in 2013.
However, the investments brokered by a Canadian firm and a Nigerian employee of Mr Becker failed, leading to his bankruptcy last month (June 2017).
Mr Becker’s lawyer John Briggs told the London court the six-time Grand Slam winner ‘is not a sophisticated individual when it comes to finances.’
