DENISAURUS News has found out that the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Mustafa Magu has ordered the sourcing of protesters in one of the locations where the Commission has an office in Nigeria.
The Senate passed a resolution that Mr Magu must be removed, or the Executive arm faces the consequences.
Staff of the commission explained that Mr Magu who was slated to attend the burial of Dr Maitama Sule, was demoralised after the decision taken by the legislative in the upper chamber on Tuesday.
The anti-graft agency boss is now scheming a hatchet job, by recruiting protesters who will embarrass PMB and NASS Senators. This is with the aim to whittle down any decision that will lead to his removal and sack from the EFCC.
A source close to Mr Magu informed this media that the recent reaffirmation from lawmakers that he must vacate the office because of its earlier decision to reject him based on a report by the state service, has edged the rejected anti-graft boss.
The Borno born Deputy Police Commissioner has ordered the sourcing of over 800 rented protestors, who are to state protest on his behalf by the end of the week, DENISAURUS News can reveal.
According to Mr Magu’s close confidant, “each protestor would be given N5K.”
Heavy social influencers who “have been enlisted to partake in the sham protest will receive N10K.”
It is not the first time Mr Magu will procure the use of fake protesters over his non-confirmation.

Meanwhile, this morning, the Prof. Yemi Osinbajo represented by the Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State, said as long as he remains the Acting President, no one would remove Mr Magu from office.
Prof Osinbajo, continues to support the “corrupt” chief executive despite an indicting intel report, which Mr Magu was unable to defend in the presence of lawmakers in March.

Mr Magu gathered a few CSO together in Kano today. However, due to the expose by this news site, the “rejected” anti-graft chairman was forced to back off from the planned disruption.
