A vehicle bomb attack in the diplomatic area of Kabul has killed 80 people and injured more than 350 others.
The attack took place this morning in the Afghan capital around the time many people were going to work.
The Taliban have denied carrying out the attack. No group has claimed responsibility.
The French and German embassies which are close to where the attack occurred were badly damaged.
The Afghan presidential palace and the Indian Embassy are also within close proximity of the blast site.
“By God’s grace, Indian Embassy staff are safe in the massive Kabul blast,” India’s foreign minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted.
The Afghan president, Ashraf Ghani described the attack has an inhumane act.
