Theresa May is due to make a significant statement in Downing Street in the next hour.
The British Prime Minister will make her speech at 11.15 am, immediately after holding a meeting with her cabinet.
There are speculations that the PM having looked at the poll, would be calling for a snap general elections for June 8th, even though she has constantly promised not to do so.
The Conservative currently have a 21 point lead, however, with the upcoming local elections, a general election might not be feasible.
Others say it could be news about foreign policy.
No 10 has not given any indication on what to expect in the speech but, political heavy weights say statements outside Number 10 Downing Street are “normally used for most serious moments.”
