A former editor and ex-Presidential spokesperson has been appointed as the new chair of the board of the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA.
President Muhammadu Buhari approved today the appointment of Chief Duro Onabule, a press secretary to military president General Ibrahim Babangida, along with other executive directors of NTA.
In a statement this afternoon, Femi Adeshina, a spokesperson to the President, said the other executive directors of NTA include: Dr Steve Egbo, Administration and Training; Abdul Hamid Salihu Dembos, Marketing; Mohammed Labbo, News; Fatima M. Barda, Finance; Stephen Okoanachi, Engineering; and Wole Coker, Programmes.
Mr Adesina also announced the appointments of Aliyu Hayatu as the new chairman of the Board of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, while Buhari Auwalu and Yinka Amosun, are Zonal Directors for Kaduna and Lagos statioms, respectively.
