The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje held a prayer session for President Muhamadu Buhari today.
President Buhari is currently at Abuja House, London, United Kingdom. He had to extend his vacation based on the advice from his doctors to rest.
There has been much speculation over the health of the President since he travelled from Abuja last month. However, government officials continue to reassure Nigerians that all is fine with the President.
Nigeria’s Commander in Chief spoke to his US counterpart, Donald Trump on Monday, 13 February 2017.
A few days ago, the Senate President, Bukola Saraki visited President Buhari at his London residence. The Turaki of Ilorin who represents Kwara Central Senatorial zone said Nigeria’s number one man was in “good spirit.”
A delegation from the National Assembly including the Senate Majority Leader, Ahmad Lawan and the Speaker of the House of Representative Yakubu Dogara also paid a visit to PMB as he is fondly addressed.
Despite many reassurances, there have been calls for Nigeria’s Head of State to release a video to prove that he is well.
At the prayer service which took place at Kano State Government House, Governor Ganduje spoke to President Buhari via telephone. Their three-minute conversation was aired live on radio.
