Six people were killed and another eight wounded in a shooting at a mosque in Quebec City, Canada, police say.
Police say that two people have been arrested in connection with the attack that took place at the at the Quebec Islamic Cultural Centre on Sunday night, during evening prayers.
The Canadian Prime Minister has condemned the attack, calling it a “terror attack.
“We condemn this terrorist attack on Muslims in a centre of worship and refuge,” Justin Trudeau said in a statement
“Muslim-Canadians are an important part of our national fabric, and these senseless acts have no place in our communities, cities and country.”
