Police investigating the death of popular British singer, George Michael have interviewed his boyfriend Fadi Fawaz.

Michael died on Christmas Day. Mr Fawaz who had been the one to find the body of 53-year-old Michael was questioned as part of a routine investigation.

The case is still being treated as ‘non-suspicious’ but Thames Valley Police Major Crime Unit are now handling the investigation.

Mr Fawaz’s Twitter account claimed the singer had “tried numbers of time to kill himself many times” and had “finally managed”.

Mr Fawaz has denied tweeting this message, stating that his account was hacked.
