Abdullahi Adamu, the national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC is resigning from the office.

The former Governor, who later became a senator representing Nasarawa West, is said to have made the decision known on Sunday to Femi Gbajabiamilla, the Chief of Staff to the President.

A newspaper quoted him as saying, “I won’t talk about the issue because the president is away.”

However the resignation has been confirmed by Nze Chidi Duru, the Deputy National Organising Secretary of the party.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently attending the Fifth Mid-Year Coordination Meeting in Kenya.
