The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, is currently holding a membership registration and revalidation exercise around the country.
The ruling party, it is understood wants to update its membership list before the next primaries. This will allow new members the opportunity to select candidates that will run for elections in 2023.
President Muhammadu Buhari, who was elected twice on the platform of the APC, went to Katsina last night, to attend to official duties and to also visit Daura – his constituency, where he would be able to participate in the registration exercise.
DENISAURUS News can report that the 78-year-old President has now done so.
“Today in Daura, I participated in the membership registration and revalidation exercise of our great party, @OfficialAPCNg. All good people must get involved in the task of nation-building and improving their society. Register for your party, and register to vote,” he noted on his verified twitter handle.
He added a picture of his form to the post.
