Abubakar Atiku, the Presidential candidate of the opposition party in Nigeria has launched his manifesto in the run-up to the next general election.
Mr Atiku, the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party will challenge sitting President Muhammadu Buhari in the election set to take place in February next year.

In his manifesto titled, the Atiku plan, the former Vice President notes has promised to “Get Nigeria Working Again,” by creating JOBS – Jobs, Opportunities, maintain Unity and Security.
Mr Atiku stated that “Over the last 18 months, I have worked with the best experts Nigeria has to offer to come up with policies and plans that when implemented will get Nigeria going in the right direction again.”
President Buhari who is contesting for a second term in office has failed to grow the economy. Under his watch Nigeria has become the world capital for poverty.

But, Mr Atiku believes Nigeria can deliver. He said “Nigeria can surpass its own growth expectations. We can put our people back to work. Our pledge to the Nigerian people is: WE CAN GET NIGERIA WORKING AGAIN!”
