Adolphus Ndaneweh Wabara, the president of the Senate of Nigeria from 2003 to 2007 turned 70 today.
The Senate President, Bukola Saraki celebrated the lawmaker, a member of the People Democratic Party, PDP in Abia State on twitter, praying that God gives him “long life, good health.”

Chief Wabara who was born on June 1, 1948, is remembered for a speech given at the National Assembly in 2006.
In rejection of President Olusegun Obasanjo’s third term agenda, the PDP chieftain said: “Ordinarily, I would have considered this bill, but my people, oh my people, have asked me to vote against it.”
