The All Progressives Congress has taken all the 389 council seats in the recently concluded elections in Osun State.

Segun Oladitan, Chairman of the commission, Osun Independent Electoral Commission OISEC, said 318 of the 398 candidate were returned unopposed.

DENISAURUS News understands that Jude Feranmi, a popular member of KOWA, who was to contest for council Ward 10, Ilesa East LGA, was not on the ballot.

The leader of his party later made an apology saying, “We are sorry.”

Remi Sonaiya, who stood as a Presidential candidate in 2015, said: “In promoting leadership by younger people, the risk of mistakes due to lack of experience is high.

“Means we need closer supervision. This has cost us a lot, but we’re learning.”
