A Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday issued a summons compelling the former President, Goodluck Jonathan, to appear in court with respect to the trial of a former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh.
Following an application from Mr Metuh, Mr Jonathan was required to appear in court. But, he did not turn up.
Justice Okong Abang has now directed the court bailiff to serve him a summons within five days.
Justice Abang also ordered the prosecution to persuade the Department of State Security, DSS to produce the former National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki in court at the next trial which is October 31, 2017.
