Residents of Kaduna now have brighter nights to look forward to, thanks to the solar powered street lights commissioned in the state by Governor Nasir El-rufai.

Mallam El-rufai who served as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory from 2003-2007, has always spoken about his vision to make Kaduna great again.
The installation of the street lamps stretching 25km will make communities in Kaduna fondly known as the crocodile state, safer and brighter in the evenings. It will no doubt bring the Governor’s dreams for the city to light.
Umar Gana, the project developer, supervised by the Department of Works, Transport and Housing has already started work in some areas along the Kaduna Western Bypass.
DENISAURUS News went out to speak to people in Kaduna about the project.
Those who have seen the new look in certain areas praised the Governor for implementing the project in the state.
A native of Zaria, who welcomed the initiative, said the street light “will make it easier and safer to travel to places at night.”
According to Sagir Baba Nationalist, @SBNationalist, a resident of Kaduna the streetlight was shining over the bypass
