COALITION of Civil society groups in Nigeria has dissociated itself from the planned sponsored protest by Tuface Idibia, calling it a display of annoyance for the discontinuation of corruption In Nigeria.

Speaking in Calabar, the National Chairman, Comrade Iso Bassey Edim condemned the highly celebrated music icon for allowing himself to be used as a contractor / tool to destabilise the genuine rebuilding of Nigeria’s Economy which was bastardized by the former Party / Leaders. Having been actively involved in Civil Society Activism in this Country, I see no justification in Tuface Idibia’s sponsored protest.

What does Tuface know about Nigeria’s Economy?

When did he become a Civil Society Activist?

Where did he get money to sponsor a Nationwide Protest?

Has he just become a Nigerian?

Is he aware of the Ethics, Ethos and Principles of Civil Society Activisms on Protest e.g. dialogue / negotiations, Consultations before confrontation?

Who told Tuface that he must start with confrontation in activism?

Has he read the Story of Our Hero’s? E.g Margret Ekpo, Hajia Kudirat Abiola, Aminu Kano, Kaduna Nzeogu, Chief Bashorun Alao Akala, Chief Femi Fawehinmi, Chief Okoi Obono Obla, Dino Melaye, Shehu Sani, etc.

How can you embark on confrontational movement without knowing why you are doing it simply because there are some millions of Naira doled out by some politicians?

This is the same sponsored protest that took place some years ago when a director in Police Pension Commission steal more than #200 Billion and people where sponsored to protest in his support because he brought some millions of Nigeria! The COALITION is totally against the assemblage of archaic and Corruption Activists. Starting an advocacy drive with confrontations is extremely archaic.

How can Sane Nigerians be expected to join a protest Sponsored by a Group of Persons that had the opportunity to change Nigeria for the Better but refused.

How can sane Nigerians join/support a protest co-organized by a devil incarnate and a homosexual chief like Charles Oputa a.k.a. Charly Boy?

On this note, as a follow up to the Letter we have addressed to the Inspector General of Police, DG of SSS etc. Security Agents should arrest all those who are seen on the road on the 5th of February 2017.

I have developed an economic road map/ blueprint of Nigeria of my dream,bordering on aggressive Agricultural Development, Utilization of our Mineral/Natural Resources. The Document is yet to be presented to the Affected Ministers.

Tuface Idibia’s is from Benue State, The Food Basket of the nation, but has not developed any Economic developmental Road Map for the Economic Growth of Benue State, yet he is preparing for a nationwide protest? We hereby advice Tuface to tow the way of patriotic Nigerians that derive pleasure in constructive/productive criticism than food is ready activism and parochialism.

To this end, all Nigerians are advised by the COALITION OF CIVIL SOCIETY GROUPS IN NIGERIA not to attend the sponsored PROTEST on the 5th of February 2017.

Anybody that is not comfortable with the economic development/programs of the present administration of PMB, should channel it appropriately to the appropriate quarters.

We would not enemies of the State to destroy what we spent time in building.
No more sharing of Nigeria’s Common Wealth, so everybody must learn how to be Productive and Proactive in this Country. #CCOSGINSUPPORTAPRODUCTIVENIGERIA#
