A suit filed by former First Lady of Nigeria, Patience Jonathan against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC will come before a Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday, 13, February, 2017.
Mrs Jonathan prayed the court to unfreeze her account, as well as restrain the EFCC and its agents from further placing a freezing order on the said accounts.
Following an application for an interim injunction by the EFCC, Justice Mojisola Olatoregun made the freezing order of several account opened in the names of companies and individual linked to Mrs Jonathan.
Mrs Jonathan, who is married to former President Goodluck Jonathan, is seeking $200 million from the commission as damages for infringing her rights
