Super Eagle’s Captain and Chelsea Midfielder, has left Chelsea to join Chinese Super League side Tianjin TEDA.
The 29-year-old, Nigerian who has been with Chelsea since for ten years agreed to the moving after failing to feature in any Premier League appearance this season.
A letter posted on his twitter handle, confirmed his departure from Stamford Bridge.
In the heartfelt letter posted on his official twitter account, Mike said: “After ten years, 374 apperances and eleven trophies, it is time for me to say goodbye.
“To play in the Premier League, the best league in the world, is every professional player’s ambition. But to play for Chelsea, to become part of the Chelsea family, to work with some of the best managers and players in the world, has truly been an honour.”
