A Judge at the High Court in Ado Ekiti ruled in favour of Governor Ayodele Fayose over the freezing of his bank account, by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC.
On Tuesday, December 13, the Judge ordered the EFCC to unfreeze Governor Fayose’s account in Zenith Bank.
Justice Taiwo Taiwo ruled against the EFCC because the anti-graft agency did not follow due process in taking such an action against the Ekiti State Governor.
The EFCC plans to appeal the order.
