Members of the All Progressives Congress in the UK have congratulated Ghana’s President-elect, Nana Akufo-Addo.
A press release signed by Adenike Lucas, “salute” the President-elect “for the courage with which you have fought to bring change to the people of Ghana.”
Members of the APC UK who campaigned and caused the defeat of the former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, promised to “support,” Mr Akufo-Addo and his party where it can.
“Like, Mr President-elect, our beloved President Buhari who was elected on his fourth attempt, had campaigned on the promise of change,” the statement reads on.
“Members of the APC in the UK aligns with the New Patriotic Party because of its democratic views.
“As reiterated by Mr Ade Omole during his congratulatory phone call with President-elect, we will support your commitment to fight corruption, create jobs, rebuild and reform the economy of Ghana.”
