An High court sitting in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital has remanded a former member of the House of Representaive, Adeseye Ogunlewe in prison custody pending the perfection of his bail condition.

Senator Ogunlewe, alias omoba, a former Minister of Works and Pro-Chancellor of Federal University of Agriculture in Abeokuta was arrested on an 18 count charge bothering on stealing and fraudulent conversion of the institution’s property.

The Vice-Chancellor of the institution was also arrested. Both were granted bail of N50m each by the presiding judge, Justice O.O Majekodunmi.

They are to provide two sureties in like manner, one of which must have a landed property within the jurisdiction of the court among other conditions
