Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode and Jimoh Ibrahim traded abusive words with one another following the ruling from the Court of Appeal in relation to the Ondo Governorship elections.
On Wednesday, 23 November, Justice Ibrahim Saulawa, the lead judge in a three-member panel, ruled against the judgement of the Federal High Court, which directed the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to put Mr Ibrahim – from the Senator Ali Modu-Sheriff faction, as the PDP candidate in the Nov 26 Ondo election.
INEC has been ordered to recognise, Mr Jegede has the PDP candidate in Saturday’s election.
Chief Fani-Kayode who served as media director to the former President and leader of the PDP, Goodluck Jonathan, was one of the first to congratulate Eyitayo Jegede SAN.
He stated that “Justice has been done,” and “the PDP is back.
“Shame on Ali Modu Sheriff, Jimoh Ibrahim and their Justice Okon Abang,” he added.
“I was glad to have grounded and banned Jimoh the pigs shitty airline EAS in 2006 when I was Min. of Aviation. His planes were flying coffins (SIC).”
“Someone tell Jimoh Ibrahim that if he wasnt a sodomite he would have been jailed long ago and that he WILL have a case with EFCC after 2019 (SIC).”
This prompted Mr Ibrahim to reply saying: “If you know someone that know Femi Fani-Kayode help me pass this message to him; “I AM A BILLIONAIRE. I DON’T HAVE A CASE WITH EFCC (SIC).
“Tell Femi Fani-Kayode that my father was never called a traitor. I never married more than ONCE and i dont have a room in Kuje Prison.”
He also asked twitter users to “help me to ask Femi Fani-Kayode that how many plates of Jollof rice do i need to get him served before he sings and dance for me?”
