Prince Harry is set to hire a personal bodyguard for his girlfriend Meghan Markle.

It was revealed today, that Queen Elizabeth II’s grandson would be paying £50,000-a-year from his own pocket.

There are claims being made that he might be hiring a retired member of Scotland Yard’s royal protection squad for a round-the-clock security for his 35-year-old girlfriend.

The 32-year-old who recently confirmed that he was dating the American actress had accused the mainstream and social media of “crossing a line.”

In a statement by his communication secretary Jason Knauf, the Prince was said to be “worried about Ms. Markle’s safety and its deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her.”

Ms. Markle, said to be head over heels with the younger brother of the Duke of Cambridge has met her beau’s father, Prince Charles.

Insiders say that Prince Williams has also met Ms. Markle and got along.
