President Muhammadu Buhari, 76, was given the traditional title, Sadauki Gwandu today.
The 76-year-old President, who is seeking a second term in office, received the traditional title, a notable honour for warrior, on his visit to the Emir of Gwandu before his campaign in Kebbi began this afternoon.
President Buhari arrived in Kebbi, after leaving Sokoto, where he was received by hundreds of thousands of fans.

On his arrival in Kebbi, he made a visit to the Emir’s palace, where he was well received.
Muhamamdu Bashar, the Emir of Gwandu who served in the Army with the President, said: “I know you’re seeking the position in the interest of the country and I know the battle we fought to keep this country together.”
