Lt. Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai’s father has passed away.

The Nigerian Army said that Alhaji Yusuf, the dad to the Chief of Army Staff, died this morning (Friday) in Maiduguri.

The deceased, a veteran of World War II is survived by 14 children, including the chief of army staff and many grandchildren.
