Boss Mustapha has been sworn in as the new Secretary To The Government Of The Federation, SGF.

Mr Mustapha was inaugurated today, afterwards he took his “seat next to the Vice President,” ahead of the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting.

The former Managing Director/CEO of the National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA, was announced as Babahir Lawal’s replacement on Monday.

There has been intense call for Mr Lawal, who was put on suspension six months ago following a report by the Senator Shehu Sani committee on humanitarian crisis in the north-east, which indicted him over his handling of contracts awarded by the Presidential Initiatives for the North East, PINE, to face prosecution over the matter.
