World renowned physicist Professor Stephen Hawking has backed Cambridge Labour MP candidate Daniel Zeichner’s re-election campaign.

The 75-year-old who meet Mr Zeichner  today, said: “I’m voting Labour because another five years of Conservative government would be a disaster for the NHS, the police and other public services.”

@DanielZeichner responded on twitter, saying “Thank you to Stephen Hawking for meeting me this morning and endorsing Labour in #GE2017.”
