Flights at Heathrow Airport have been cancelled due to severe weather risk caused by storm Dorris.

This morning, the Met Office warned that “#StormDoris will move east today bringing #wind gusts as high as 80mph, causing some disruption #weatheraware”

A few hours after, @MetOffice issued a yellow weather warning. It stated on its verified twitter account that:”#StormDoris has rapidly deepened over the last 24 hours as it has under gone what we call Explosive Cyclogenisis making it a #WeatherBomb”
